Welcome to Worcestershire Ramblers
This section of the Worcestershire Ramblers is the executive comittee that liaises with head office, our local groups and other agencies to enhance the walking experience for everyone. The committee comprises of the usual post holding officers, representatives from the local five groups and some of our affiliated groups. Currently there are over one thousand members in the Area.
Members joining local Ramblers groups are automatically members of Worcestershire Area. However many members join this Area section ((WO-96) because they wish to walk with more than one group. Some members join because they like to support the aims of the organisation protecting our wonderful network of paths but prefer to walk alone or with family and friends.
Your membership is very much appreciated and we hope you find
walks and routes to suit your requirements and enjoy many other benefits.

The walk or route finder on the national Ramblers website list most groups walks and offers a filter system whereby members can choose to walks with specific groups, by postcode, length of walk, dog friendly and many more options.
The routefinder offers a wide range of options too.
The local Ramblers groups are Bromsgrove, Evesham, Redditch, Worcester and Wyre Forest; all offer a varied programme of walks, however each group operates differently. Some assemble at a meeting point and car share to the start, others meet at the start. Some groups welcome dogs. Please check a few days before the walk. Most groups organise holidays, weekends away and day trips. Three groups organise working parties to help maintain the local rights of way.
